Base Case was born to solve this problem: to deliver a proper, ergonomic, dual-screen workstation that you can easily travel with, like a suitcase.
The concept started in Arthur’s garage, with sketchbooks full of ideas and monitors mounted inside a reengineered carry-on suitcase. What began as a scrappy experiment evolved into a patent pending, precision-engineered workstation with integrated docking, 4K monitors, telescoping legs, and removable storage. All of this in a carry-on sized suitcase.
Today, Base Case is beginning to empower professionals, creatives, and even members of the military to bring a proper workstation wherever they go. From Wall Street to RVs, Base Case is redefining what it means to work from anywhere without sacrificing efficiency, comfort, or capability.
We are finalizing our design of our commercial production model, incorporating feedback from early testers who have traveled all over the world with a Base Case. With manufacturing getting underway, we are on track to begin shipping units to customers later this year, fulfilling both preorders and pilot deployments.

We made our debut at CES 2025, showcasing the world’s first ultraportable, dual-screen workstation fully integrated into a carry-on case. We launched our crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo in March 2025 and quickly captured the attention of remote professionals, defense analysts, finance professionals, digital nomads, and tech enthusiasts worldwide. With a bold promise to deliver a full dual-screen workstation in a carry-on-sized case, our campaign smashed our initial funding goal within days and ultimately raised over $550,000.
