Base Case comes with a limited 1 year warranty that covers manufacturing defects, display defects beyond industry pixel thresholds, electronics failures, mechanical defects, and failure under normal intended use. Warranty excludes accidental damage, liquid exposure, unauthorized repairs, cosmetic wear, consumables, damage caused by third-party equipment, and damage caused by improper operation. An extended warranty will be offered through Akko.
Base Case is not a ruggedized product in its current form. We recommend to not check the Base Case case if possible. It falls within the carry-on dimensions of most US airlines.
Yes, Base Case has two video ports, 1 for left and 1 for right screen. This is designed to plug in a single machine with two video cables, or separate machines for each case.
Base Case does not have an internal battery option. However, third party mobile battery options are available and can power the case for several hours with its 180W (with laptop included) per hour load.
